The Guardian-Tug-O-War

I'm a very depressed person, and I've hardly ever felt so excited before. Especially about a movie. 

A single little kids movie. Why was I so excited about this movie???? 

I don't know, but this movie brought me happiness for a whole year. The excitement, the new findings, the experience… this movie made me find new sites and gave me new ideas, delayed my art block for the longest time <3, actually practicing ROTG drawings improved how I draw humans, I became interested in 3D art and started considering it as a career… 

I don't know what it was, but this movie… It brought me back. 

I've never seen a movie in theaters TWICE before, and this was the first movie I've ever seen twice in a movie theater. 

I know its the typical good vs. evil cliche, but…. the characters… 

Jack… the lonely nice guy who is misunderstood… hides it all with a smile…so strong.. even after 300 years of neglect and loneliness… he still has the will to carry on. Impressively inspirational. 

Tooth… beautiful. I've never seen a more stunning and unique/original character before. 

Sandman.. I've never remembered him up until now.. and he's so fun and cute! 

Bunnymund… just adorable as a little bunny! He's tough and rough, but he has an adorable soft side..

North… so jolly and fun… and just the whole different perspective from the original santa claus… he's Russian and a badass… it kinda makes sense since most Russian stereotypes live in such heavy snow and are super tough people..

all the characters are super unique and portrayed in different ways!

and Pitch… so sinister, so lonely, yet he has kindness within him somewhere. His sincere yet tricky smiles and sad expressions he makes throughout the movie…. are just so adorable….. 

and his backstory within the books….. makes me want to cry… 

Not enough information was given in this movie. There were many questions and many things left out. 

Dreamworks. 

I know ROTG didn't do well at the box office, but the DVD sales have helped pick up the money you guys needed. 

the Croods felt like a rip-off of the Flinstones… the scenery was a mix from the Avatar movie things from the planet of Pandora… and it had so many gag-reels and things I've seen before.. 

and that got so much more than Rise of the Guardians….

but why can't you give us a chance? A short or something, please? 

Monsters vs Aliens, the worst animated movie i've ever seen, got more money than ROTG and it got its own stupid tv show. Are you kidding me? (It is a bad movie, all hands down. Its dumb and typical, and doesn't make any sense) 

Megamind got at least 21 million more than ROTG, but they got a short! 

;A; The backstory and making of this movie went up to 5 years of production.. and its back story is sad as well as amazing with the evolution of the ideas, the concept art, the characters… 

William's daughter died before she could see the movie….

so much time was spent into this movie… and the movie just had poor advertising and a bad release date… 

Many people argue that we only like the movie because of Jack Frost and how he's just a hot boy everyone is after or ROTG is like an Avengers for kids… I know how stereotypical that sounds, and trust me, we love this movie for much more than what people assume we like it for. 

Its kind of like an Avengers for kids, but there are many differences, and a lot more emotion and heart has been put into the characters. 

Dreamworks… give us a second chance. 

Rise of the Guardians is just as good as How to train your dragon, and you've already given that a short and 2 more movies to come up. 

a Prequel, sequel, short, I don't care. 

All we want is our dreams and wishes to come true and let us relive our happy lives we had when we were younger again.

All this stress from school, responsibilities, growing up… nobody likes it. 

Could you guys at least.. give us another taste of our childhood once more? 

Please? 

I know its a lot of work, and you guys have your doubts because it did poorly in theaters… but you guys seriously need to make another movie. It doesn't have to be centered around jack, it could be about the guardians and their pasts, add book characters, make a new villain, I don't care. 

Just let us all see our childhood again. 

Let us have happiness again.
