She seems like a smart technician kinda like Pearl! They both have their gems on their heads after all! 
Garnet says she's no coming back, but I hope she does!

It makes Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst sound like escaped convicts or something??? 
Lapis said Steven's friends don't really care about other gems, they only care about the Earth..
you kinda wonder what happened between them and their original gem home? And why they want to keep all the warp pads destroyed? 

If you look on the back wall in this screenshot, 

It shows Rose Quartz (Steven's mother) fighting off another gem it appears. 
I wonder if this triangular gem has something to do with the gems' escape from their world?? 
Maybe their world became corrupt or something? 
I wish these episodes were longer, like the Lapis Lazuli one. 
Its a little sad that episodes these days tend to only be 11 minutes long. Feels awful rushed, and too many cliffhangers. I wonder if they did that because children have shorter attention spans? But Gravity Falls as 20 minute episodes.. 
hm.. who knows? 
can't wait to see what happens next! Hope to see Lapis and Peridot again!
