Oaklin

Meet Oaklin! John's boyfriend. 

Oaklin Gladius  
-male, age 19 to 20 

Oaklin met John in a coffee shop of some sort. Oaklin is pretty good at picking up John's expressions and can usually tell what he's thinking easily. John has had to toughen up around him so Oaklin will have to work harder at trying to get to know him more. 
John is protective of Oaklin surprisingly. If he sees someone trying to steal Oaklin from him, he'll usually wrap his arms around Oaklin with a pout and glare at that person. Oaklin thinks John is hilarious because he seems to act like a cat at times. 
Oaklin carries John around and they are kinda dramatic around each other. If Oaklin ever hurts john, they're both deeply hurt for about a week so they're careful to understand each other if they ever get into fights, which is really really rare. 

John claims Oaklin smells of fresh wood, steamed mushrooms and musty peach candles... which baffles Oaklin at how specific John is in his details, he's almost poetic about everything. Oaklin discovered John is actually pretty good at tracking and finding things, especially with senses. Its like John has a special connection to the roots and nature of the world, taught to him by his mother most likely. 

Oaklin is a pretty good cook though he's still learning. John likes to find recipe books for him so they can both try new things. 

John has accidentally suffocated Oaklin a few times when they lay down since John his a clingy squeezer who likes to hoard soft plushies, pillows, and blankets. 

Their habits rub off on each other. Oaklin has made John dress more casually now and then, and John struggles to get Oaklin to dress more elegantly when they go to restaurants or parties. 

They only require very soft whispers or nods to communicate.
